Blacksmiths Conference

Checklist

The conference will be held outdoors with the demos in tents and unheated buildings

      Please come prepared for fall weather, whatever it may be

Don’t forget  to bring:

     Safety glasses (remember you can eat with false teeth walk with a wooden leg but...

                                    you can't see with a glass eye!)

     A camp chair (for watching demonstrators if you don't like to sit on bleachers)

     A camera, and note pad to record all you're going to see and learn

     A flashlight for going to bunkhouse, campsite, or car after evening activities

     A travel mug for drinks  (Paper/Foam ups will be supplied at the drink stations but ...)

     Iron-In-The-Hat  Donations  (2 Drawings - Friday and Saturday during Dinner)

     Display Items for the Gallery which will be viewed by the public

     Forged Items for the Auction  (Don't forget to sign and date your work)

     Silent Auction Items ( Blacksmith Tools and Equipment)

     For the Bunkhouse:

           Towels and Sheets/ Sleeping bag (a pillow and blanket are provided)

     If Camping:

            Camp/Shower Shoes and a  Robe for walking to and from Showers
